Hello, you are all very welcome to ICE Group. Thank you for coming along to this assessment.

The purpose of this assessment is to measure your suitability for work in a production environment. This multiple-choice assessment measures suitability in English comprehension, mathematical numeracy, and computer usage.

This assessment is part of the recruitment process and you must pass this to be eligible to move on to the next stage. Not everyone will pass this stage.

The positions are temporary, working on a production line.  You will be employed by ICE Group. Our recruitment team have provided you with details of the average contract duration. You need to be available for the minimum contract length.

All positions require full flexibility in terms of what shifts you may be required to do – this may mean nights, evenings, or day shifts. If you cannot manage the flexibility, perhaps these roles are not best suited to you. Working on an evening or night shift is very different, and you may not be comfortable doing these shifts, so if you have any concerns, please let us know and discuss your flexibility with us.

If you are successful in the entire recruitment process, which involves the dexterity test, reference checks, an interview, and a pre-employment medical, then you will be placed on a panel. Open vacancies are filled by individuals placed on this panel.

If you are placed on the panel, quite often we are not in a position to give much notice before you are required to start. Therefore, if you need to give a weeks’ notice (or more) to a current employer, please highlight this to us. Additionally, if you are no longer interested in a position after being placed on the panel, for example, you got another job, please let us know. Please remember that by keeping a place on the panel that you are no longer interested in, you may be inhibiting someone from getting a position.

Today’s assessment will be completed in silence. Please note you may not use your phone, calculator, or any other aids to calculate the answers through the duration of this assessment.

This test is timed, please try and complete it as quickly and as accurately as possible. Please be sure to read all the instructions. Ensure every section is complete before moving on to the next, and ensure that you have fully completed all six sections.

If you have a technical question with your computer, please contact the invigilator, who will assist you. However, you may not ask to speak to anyone else in the assessment. The invigilator also cannot assist with queries on the content of the assessment.

When you have completed your assessment, you must remain in your seat unless advised otherwise by the invigilator.

At the completion of the assessment, we will process the results.
